Circus
The principal activity of the Chita circus is focused on organization of shows performed by guest circus companies and arrangement of concert programs.
In 1936-1999 travelling circus groupes performed in Chita. In 1999 with the support of the Chita region governor R.Geniatulin an Italian pre-fabricated circus was purchased and erected in Chita. The circus capacity is 1500 seats.For the first two months about 100 thousand persons visited the circus. For 6 years of operation more than 30 circus troupes from different cities of Russia and neighbouring counties performed here. A stable partnership with the Russian state circus company “Rosgostsirk” has been established.
