International Kadala airport is located in Chita, 14 km away from the city centre. The airport services several airlines and destinations, but the main are domestic flights in the Russian Federation. Kadala airport is equipped with a concrete B class runway and can accept such airplanes as Il-62, Il-76, Tu-154, Tu-204/214, Airbus A310, Airbus A319/320, Boeing 737, Boeing 757, BAe 146, MD-82 and other smaller airplanes. In addition, the airport can service all categories of helicopters. As for international flights, there are flights to Hailar and Manchuria.
Domestic flights are operated by Vim-Airlines, Dauria, Iraero, Kavminvodyavia, Globus, Ural Airlines, Yakutia. Most of them do regular flights but flights to Sochi, Anapa, Krasnoyarsk and Kemerovo are operated only in high season (these flights are operated by Kavminvodyavia). The total annual passenger traffic is about 150 thousand passengers.
Runway capacity is 10 take-offs and landings per hour, the capacity of domestic airlines terminal is 200 passengers per hours; the capacity of international airlines terminal - 100 passengers per hour.
How to get there: You can get to the airport by regular buses No 12, 14. One can also use taxi service which provides fast and comfortable transfer to the Chita airport.
