Expansion of the Chita Sewage treatment plant
The existing Chita sewage treatment plant (STP) with the capacity of 100.5 thousand cubic mpd hardly copes with the increasing volume of waste water. Therefore, it is necessary to increase waste water collection up to 150 thousand cubic mpd by means of construction of additional facilities and reconstruction of the available assets, which will allow to collect waste water from residential areas with the total area of 1172 thousand m2 planned for commissioning.

| The existing Chita sewage treatment plant (STP) with the capacity of 100.5 thousand cubic mpd hardly copes with the increasing volume of waste water. Therefore, it is necessary to increase waste water collection up to 150 thousand cubic mpd by means of construction of additional facilities and reconstruction of the available assets, which will allow to collect waste water from residential areas with the total area of 1172 thousand m2 planned for commissioning. In order to improve ecological situation in the city and at the treatment plant a system of storm water drainage system should be used, this will eliminate flooding of treatment plant facilities by storm water and, thus, the leakage of waste water to the river Chita. The following objectives will be achieved during project implementation: - increase in the efficiency of the city sewage treatment facilities; - enhancement of the STP operation reliability; - increase of waste water purification index. | |||

| 19112.0 thousand USD are needed to implement the project. Sources of financing may be budgets of all levels, funds of other companies. It is necessary to discuss participation of the parties in the project implementation with the potential investor. | |||
